A fully qualified Interior Designer, Sophie supports Debbie Cavit in both larger residential design projects as well as with Cavit Projects, which specialises in hotels and luxury lodges in New Zealand and the Pacific Basin. Sophie’s design style has been largely influenced by the 17 years she spent in Europe, in her previous career as a professional ballet dancer. Her passion for Architecture and both the visual and performing arts are also shown through her appreciation of form and attention to detail.

The experience she gained in working with textiles, colour and textures whilst in the fashion industry, have been transferrable within the context of interior planning and design. Her training in Autocad means she is also proficient with all aspects of drawing and designing custom furniture.
