Jo’s love of design developed through renovation projects at work and home. It began as a passion, but turned into a serious career. A fully qualified interior designer, Jo was initially drawn to a contemporary style while living in the city but now enjoys the various styles that Central Otago architecture lends itself to. Previously specialising in hotel fit outs, Jo has worked both in New Zealand and in Fiji on various hospitality projects managing design and procurement while implementing the projects. Jo’s proficiency in AutoCAD adds value to her skill set and enhances her spacial and furniture design.

Attending the High Point Furniture show in the United States gave her an insight into current trends as well as developing relationships with Cavit & Co's most important suppliers.
